This was a former KOA park that now is operating under new owners. The owners are really turning it into a first-rate park! Several upgrades are being worked on, including a stone-covered office building, new landscaping, and new road surfacing. It is a good location for visiting Grass Valley, Loomis, Auburn, Nevada City, Sutter's Mill, and Placerville. We will definitely stay here again next year! It will be a "10" with the new improvements!

The best thing about this park is the beautiful location on the Rogue River. The sunsets reflected onto the water are gorgeous! The road and pads are narrow, making it very difficult to maneuver our 36 foot fifth wheel and making us very close to our neighbors' sewers and awnings. Our site held a badly cracked, broken, and uneven concrete pad. The stairs down to the river are broken and missing. The washers and dryers are outdated and had dog hair on the lids and in the lint traps. I feel that this park could be a very nice park with some TLC and improvements. The setting is beautiful!

The sites are under a forest of 200 feet tall pine trees. The sites are arranged in a random, somewhat confusing way, but once you figure out which site is yours and get your rigged parked, you are really in for a beautiful visit. Even with full hook-ups, you are truly camping, complete with a large fire-ring. The restaurant has good food with reasonable prices. The store/marina has everything you would need during your stay. My only complaint is that the store closes at 5:00--way too early. This is a good location while visiting Crater Lake.

This park has large sites and wide roads for easy in and out. The park is extremely family and dog friendly. Not a relaxing, quiet retiree park. The laundry room is large and very clean. One problem encountered was the over-watering the grassy areas between sites, keeping the grass very wet and full of mosquitoes. The park is advertised as "on the water" but only a few sites are actually on the water. We love the town of Coeur d'Alene and this park is the only one near the town, so we would stay here again.

This is a beautiful, well maintained RV park with a friendly, fun, efficient staff! Every detail of the park is immaculate. We enjoyed Montana's huckleberry ice cream while sitting around the nightly campfire. Our site was right on the Yellowstone River with an unbeatable view of snow-capped mountains! This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Yellowstone National Park, Livingston, and Bozeman. We stayed 10 days and plan to spend at least a here month next summer!

We really loved this park! The owner, HaRVey (yes, that's how he writes it!) made us feel welcomed and at home, immediately. The park was clean, well maintained and our site was an easy pull-through. The office/gift shop/store was well stocked. This is a good location for visiting the Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater, Jerome, Oakcreek Canyon, and Sedona. Our only tiny complaint is the red, crushed lava on the sites. It is easily carried into the RV on shoes and is messy in the rain. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the Flagstaff area.

We stayed here five nights while visiting Zion National Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This is a good base for local attractions. The owners and staff are friendly and efficient. The sites are wide enough for our big rig with easy in and out. The park, laundry room and showers are sparkling clean. For a special dinner out, go to the Rockin' V Cafe.

This should not be named an RV Park. It is mostly "permanents" who are even building additions onto their trailers! The few sites available for overnighters are tight with very narrow roads. The roads are crowded with a lot of extra cars and trucks. We had to ask a neighbor to move her truck when we were ready to leave. We will not stay here again.

What a beautiful park! The sites have gravel pads with lush, green, sculpted grass to landscape each one. Each site has trees, a grill, and a new table. The owners, Stuart and Kathy, and the entire staff (wearing bright yellow shirts) are friendly, welcoming, and fun! The office, restrooms, showers and laundry are sparkling clean! At dusk, we enjoyed an air show put on by hummingbirds doing amazing aerial stunts that would please the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds! We will definitely stay here again!
